Ten minutes with Mitra
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to work and consistency. Every day there's a challenge, and I take it day by day, living in the moment and keeping moving forward with my morning workout routine.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I advise young women to break through the stigma that girls are not good at math. Show them that this is not really manly work and has a very feminine side as well, because to some point it's very artistic. Be strong enough technically to lead and trust your own judgment.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
There are a lot of opportunities for women out there, with many places interested in hiring women and men to keep the balance. The challenge is being in a field known as men's work and needing to be strong to lead, especially in a group that is 100% men.
