M’Lissa Parker, Ed.S., M.Ed., is a dedicated educator, consultant, and founder of My Mighty Self, LLC, with a 20-year career centered on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and trauma-informed education. Throughout her career, she has served as a special educator, school counselor, and emotional disabilities specialist, gaining extensive experience supporting students with diverse learning needs. Her work is guided by a strong belief that every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported, and she has developed innovative SEL programs to foster emotional regulation, social skills, and self-confidence in students across schools, homes, and communities.

As the founder of My Mighty Self, M’Lissa partners with schools, families, and organizations to implement evidence-based, equity-centered SEL strategies. She designs and delivers professional development workshops, trauma-informed coaching, and behavioral interventions that equip educators and caregivers with tools to support children compassionately and effectively. M’Lissa has also created original SEL resources, including the Mighty R6F™ Framework of Regulation and Restoration, which is now used in classrooms and home-based coaching to promote calm, connection, and capacity for all learners.

M’Lissa’s commitment to social-emotional wellness extends beyond the classroom. She has worked in diverse settings, including indigenous villages in Alaska, and has published interactive SEL content for early learners. Her efforts have been recognized nationally, with invitations to present at conferences such as FSWS 2025 and proposals submitted to professional conventions including CEC 2026. Through her work, M’Lissa continues to empower students and educators to cultivate resilience, emotional intelligence, and confidence—helping every child show up as their mighty self.
