Molly Cruz
Molly Cruz is a seasoned leader in the elevator transportation and construction industry, bringing over 20 years of experience spanning international sales, business development, operations, and process optimization. She currently serves as National Sales and Process Manager, where she plays a critical role in improving customer experience through electronic data interchange (EDI) processes, sales interfaces, and account access systems. Her work sits at the intersection of sales strategy and operational efficiency, ensuring seamless engagement between customers, sales teams, and digital platforms in a highly regulated, safety-driven industry.
Molly’s career journey is a testament to perseverance, adaptability, and authentic leadership. She began her path in the industry in 2005 as a part-time receptionist and salesperson, steadily advancing into outside sales, international account management, and eventually national leadership roles. Her bilingual capabilities provided a distinct advantage in serving global and Spanish-speaking customers, representing her company at international trade shows and strengthening cross-border relationships. After nearly a decade with Adams Elevator—Schindler’s third-party spare parts organization—she broadened her experience through operations leadership with another supplier before returning to Schindler in a role uniquely crafted around her strengths. Mentored by a senior leader who recognized her potential, Molly’s position evolved to blend sales, process improvement, and strategic business development, reflecting both her versatility and trusted expertise.
Committed to lifelong learning and service, Molly holds a master’s degree in business development and is currently pursuing a PhD in Communications, recognizing the critical role clear, effective communication plays in leadership, safety, and organizational success. She is actively involved in industry organizations, serving on the board of the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation (EESF) to promote public awareness and safe elevator use, and contributing to the National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC) Small Business Board to support emerging contractors navigating the OEM landscape. Outside of work, Molly enjoys reading historical fiction, values mindfulness and intentional presence, and grounds her life in faith and service—supporting her local church, Journey Church, and sponsoring a child through World Vision for over two decades. Known for her authenticity, people-first leadership style, and commitment to building meaningful relationships, Molly continues to influence her industry with purpose, integrity, and vision.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my ability to genuinely connect with people and to be fully present in every interaction. I believe that the person I am with in any given moment deserves my complete focus, and that intentional presence has allowed me to build meaningful, impactful relationships throughout my career. I do not believe success is ever achieved alone; it is shaped through collaboration, trust, and shared purpose. Because I truly care about people, I am intentional about creating purpose-driven moments and remaining open to opportunities, even when the outcome is uncertain. That mindset—being present, curious, and self-aware has consistently driven my growth, sharpened my perspective, and carried me forward professionally and personally.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to remember that you do not need to know everything you simply need to know how and where to find the answers. Show up as your authentic self and never feel pressure to pretend or perform; authenticity builds trust, while ambiguity creates doubt. It is far more powerful to say, “I’m not sure, but I’ll find out,” than to avoid the truth or mask uncertainty. Confidence comes from honesty, self-awareness, and follow-through. When you lead with integrity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn, you create credibility, strengthen relationships, and set a strong foundation for long-term success.
