Molly Henderson - Cannabis Media │ Influential Women

About Molly

Molly Henderson is a registered nurse with 28 years of experience who transitioned into cannabis media after the COVID-19 pandemic led her to discover cannabis as a tool for managing stress, anxiety, and reconnecting with herself. Based in St. Paul, Minnesota, she has spent the last three years podcasting and producing media content aimed at breaking down stigmas around cannabis use. She leads a small team at her media company, handling event correspondence, networking, and leadership responsibilities that draw on her nursing background in listening and understanding others. Molly is launching the first nonprofit for cannabis nurses in Minnesota, which will offer education on cannabis within nursing scope of practice, continuing education credits, and policy work to support patient choices. She maintains memberships in the Minnesota Nurses Association, the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, and the Minnesota chapter of the Cannabis Chamber of Commerce, while taking business and leadership classes to strengthen her entrepreneurial efforts.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

There's definitely gonna be days when you want to give up, and so you're really gonna have to dig deep, and you're gonna have to understand, like, you started this for a reason, you started it with passion, and you are gonna come up against some roadblocks. The best thing sometimes you can hear is the word no, because it forces you to pivot, and it forces you to think about things in a different way, or an approach in a different way. So, don't give up, don't give up.
