Her Story

About Molly

With over eight years of experience in high-stakes sales and relationship management, I currently serve as a Client Success Manager at Doximity. Since joining the team in August 2025, I have specialized in bridging the gap between healthcare recruitment needs and data-driven solutions. My role involves partnering with C-suite leadership and clinical recruitment teams to streamline the hiring of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). My journey into the corporate world was fueled by a background in competitive athletics. I began my career as an NCAA Women’s Soccer Coach, an experience that instilled in me a deep understanding of team dynamics and performance strategy. When I transitioned into the private sector to prioritize family and a relocation to Texas, I initially applied these skills in higher education admissions before pivoting into IT sales with Gartner. At Gartner, I honed my consultative approach by supporting Midsize Enterprise clients within the finance sector, translating complex technical needs into actionable business outcomes. In my current capacity, I act as a strategic advisor rather than just a service provider. I empower my clients through Data-Driven Strategy: Leading intensive strategy sessions and "whiteboarding" calls to visualize recruitment pipelines. Team Enablement: Conducting specialized training for recruitment teams to optimize their sourcing and engagement workflows. Consultative Sourcing: Navigating complex, client-facing challenges by providing expert-level recommendations tailored to the evolving healthcare landscape. My primary focus is ensuring that every client feels supported through a truly consultative lens. I pride myself on navigating the intricacies of healthcare recruitment with a solution-oriented mindset, ensuring that our partners are equipped with the insights and tools necessary to build world-class medical teams.

Ten minutes with Molly

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my growth to a commitment to radical transparency and a ‘student of the game’ mentality. I’ve always made it a priority to put myself in rooms with people more successful than me—to be a sponge and embrace the discomfort of growth. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have phenomenal women leaders who invested in my development, and I’ve matched that investment by being relentlessly coachable. I believe you have to give transparency to get it; by being vocal and clear with leadership about my professional goals and vision, I’ve been able to build the reciprocal trust necessary to navigate change and take on new challenges with confidence.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

At a pivotal crossroads in my career, I found myself questioning my direction and, more importantly, whether I could trust my own instinct. A mentor gave me a piece of advice that changed my trajectory: 'If you’re going to bet on anyone, bet on yourself.' The core of that advice was about ownership. You are the only person who can truly control your effort and your actions. Today, I lead my career with that philosophy—focusing on the variables I can influence and executing with intentionality. Others can set the parameters and guidelines, but I own the output. That shift from seeking external validation to relying on internal execution has been my greatest competitive advantage.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Sales can be intimidating, but my best advice is to cultivate a spirit of fearlessness. Don’t just wait for an invitation; actively place yourself in the rooms where decisions are made and change occurs. Too often, we wait for our hard work to be 'discovered,' but you must be your own strongest advocate. Use your voice to ensure leadership understands your trajectory and your goals. By being vocal about where you want to go and standing firm in your value, you transform from a participant into a leader. Speak up, claim your space, and never apologize for your ambition.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

We aren't just facing a talent shortage; we’re battling widespread clinician burnout. However, this creates a massive opportunity for digital transformation. By leveraging AI and data-driven recruitment tools, we can move away from reactive hiring and toward strategic forecasting. The goal is to use technology to handle the operational burden, allowing providers to get back to what matters most: patient care.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Whether I am advising a C-suite client or collaborating with my internal team, clear and honest communication is the foundation of trust. Beyond that, I am driven by conviction and a healthy 'hunger' for growth. In both my career and personal life, I believe in the power of alignment; if you aren't passionate about your path, you owe it to yourself to pause, reflect, and pivot. As women, we are often encouraged to dim our light, but I believe our greatest strength lies in our ability to be unapologetically ambitious. Using your hunger to pursue your dreams isn't just a personal choice—it’s the most effective way to ensure you are making a meaningful impact in your field.
