Her Interview

Ten minutes with Molly

01What do you attribute your success to?

Honestly, this is a little cliche, but my mom, she has always been a leader and really modeled for me being an independent woman, and how to navigate this society.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I think somebody once told me to really focus on what I'm passionate about, rather than what I feel I should do.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I think the importance of really trusting your own instincts. Because intuition is actually clinical information.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenges include navigating the American healthcare system and limitations imposed by insurance companies' policy and the disconnect between government interests and people's interests. Opportunities around education and training because things are always evolving in terms of how mental health is understood.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I think integrity, for sure. Honesty and transparency matter to me, but delivered with compassion and thoughtfulness.
