She is an early childhood education, curriculum and instruction, teacher development, and higher education professional with experience in early and elementary learning, staff development, continuing professional development, education leadership, and statewide learning initiatives. She currently serves as Assistant Professor at Marshall University. Her background includes more than 12 years as Director of Early and Elementary Learning with the West Virginia Department of Education, supported by a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Marshall University.
