Monica Gabriele

Monica Gabriele is a licensed professional counselor specializing in behavioral health and mental health recovery. She earned her bachelor's degree in Spanish and psychology from NAU and initially pursued teaching, working in preschool through high school Spanish education. During COVID, she completed her master's in clinical mental health counseling and transitioned into behavioral health as a behavior coach at a non-profit organization, supporting youth ages 5 through 18 with behavioral and mental health issues by teaching life skills and interpersonal communication. She completed her internship at a residential treatment center working with children experiencing trauma, neglect, and abandonment. After obtaining her LPC, she worked in school counseling and outpatient group practices before moving into her current role in residential treatment. There, she manages a caseload of up to 10 adult clients in recovery, including those with co-occurring and primary mental health diagnoses, providing both individual and group therapy.
