About Monica

Monica Godlewski serves as Lead Solutions Engineer, a role she has held for about three years. She has built her career in marketing tech since 2012, with experience across marketing resource management, social presence management, reporting on marketing efficiencies, and revenue generation. In her daily work, she partners with account executives to research prospective customers, demonstrate solutions that streamline organic social strategies, and align technology with client objectives around efficiency, scalability, and strategy. Her educational background in economic consulting from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University honed her critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which she applies to understanding client pain points and positioning solutions effectively. Monica attributes her professional success to stubborn persistence and a sink-or-swim mentality, refusing to stop trying or putting in effort. She values challenges that foster creativity and growth in her career, while in her personal life she prioritizes being present with her three children during fleeting moments.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Monica

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to stubborn persistence. I've always been of the mentality that you either sink or swim, and I very much so refuse to think so I will be swimming until the rest of my days. Failure is no longer trying or putting in the effort. I choose to take a step back, critically evaluate situations, and use them as opportunities to drive forward.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't second guess yourself. Figure out how to fully let go of imposter syndrome. You deserve to be there. Focus on your own reflection of how you perform rather than worrying about what somebody else perceives you as.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

In my work, I value challenges and problem solving, thriving on complexity because it forces creativity and growth. In my personal life, I value family time and being present in the little moments with my three kids, as these moments won't come back.
