About Monica
I have always been in leadership positions, kind of seems a bit of a natural pull to me. I have built my career at the intersection of business performance and human development. I'm currently a senior portfolio manager, and I oversee large multifamily portfolios, and lead teams. We are in very complex environments in the multifamily industry, particularly residential side of things, and some commercials, but mostly residential. I'm also a leadership and growth strategist, and I help women and professionals to strengthen their leadership presence.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I think being consistent and being authentic. I didn't give up when it became hard, and I just continued on my path. Being consistent and just being who you are was really helpful for me.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
To welcome feedback. Sometimes we tend to jump into being judgmental or put ourselves down if we receive feedback, but meeting it with curiosity turns it into an opportunity for growth.
