Monica Taylor, M.Ed., ACC

Monica Taylor, M.Ed., ACC, is an Organizational Development Consultant, Executive Coach, and founder of Rockett Consultants, LLC, where she partners with leaders and organizations to build clarity, courage, and capacity for meaningful impact. Based in Washington, D.C., Monica specializes in leadership development, organizational transformation, executive coaching, workplace wellness, and change management. Through her work, she helps individuals and teams strengthen self-awareness, improve performance, and create healthier, more effective organizational cultures.

With a career rooted in education and leadership development, Monica brings more than a decade of experience guiding people and organizations through growth and change. Her professional journey includes roles as a high school English teacher, assistant principal, principal, education nonprofit leader, and Director of Education and Professional Development and Engagement. Drawing from her background in educational leadership and organizational consulting, she developed a coaching approach centered on intentional leadership, accountability, psychological safety, and empowering individuals to lead with authenticity and purpose.

Monica holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Regent University, postgraduate studies in Urban Education and Leadership from Harvard University, and an Executive Certificate in Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership from Georgetown University. She also holds a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace certificate and maintains credentials through the International Coaching Federation. Beyond her professional work, Monica is actively engaged in community service through her sorority and church, supporting voter registration initiatives, local missions, and women’s leadership development programs. Her work reflects a commitment to helping people and organizations become more intentional, inclusive, and impactful leaders.
