01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Believing in yourself is key. When you truly believe in yourself and have that confidence, that is really what's gonna push you forward, no matter the obstacles. Remember your only competition is yourself - try to be better than you were the day before. Focus on growing your skill set in something you're passionate about. Have good mentors who can guide you and surround yourself with people who encourage you and give wisdom and feedback. Maintain a growth mindset, never being stuck in one mindset.

02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

For the photography side, the challenge is communicating the impact and benefit of focused corporate photography and content that lives on to impact future events, brand, and business. Helping clients think of photography as more than just photos but as content for long-term marketing and brand awareness. For the software side, the challenge is prioritizing what to build without building everything at once, getting feedback from event planners to fine-tune the product to their specific needs and pain points.
