Her Interview
Ten minutes with Monique
01What do you attribute your success to?
God and my mother, who instilled a vision for education and giving back despite humble beginnings in the South Bronx projects. She emphasized integrity and education, taking us to cultural events and fighting for opportunities like better schools.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Seek mentorship but more importantly sponsorship - someone who can speak for you when you're not in the room. Be open to people from all backgrounds and don't let color or politics block your blessings. Focus on integrity and student success beyond just data points.
