Her Story

About Moon

I came to the U.S. when I was 23 years old from a culture where females have no rights and are abused, and I was personally abused. When I moved to the U.S., I discovered that I could do a lot of things in my life and that I'm free, and I appreciate this. That's what makes me who I am now - an independent woman with my own vision and beliefs. I want to be someone who inspires females to develop themselves and connect to their authentic selves through self-love. I've had many successful stories with my clients working one-to-one, and all my clients still contact me even after I help them. I'm someone who inspires and impacts anywhere I go, even through my work. The experience I had in my life has given me the wisdom and vision to inspire and brighten people's lives in general. I discovered through my work in the beauty industry that beauty comes from inside - you want to look good, but do you feel good? I was the first person who discovered this through my own experience and through customers who came to me. I work with clients one-to-one to make them discover this, to connect to themselves more, to love themselves. I lived through three wars back home during my first 23 years of life, and I discovered that all the pain I faced in my life reflects on my creativity. I'm a very creative person, and creative energy is energy that you just redirect. I'm currently working on writing my first book about my back home and the truth behind it, connecting it to my journey here and how I gained this wisdom.

01What do you attribute your success to?

My genuine want to help and inspire is what I attribute my success to. I see myself as someone who always lifts people up and makes them inspired and connects them to themselves. I discovered this through my journey, my experience, and my knowledge. Through my work in the beauty industry, I had many clients who opened up to me on a deep level, and I was wondering why. It's because they feel comfortable, they feel connection, they feel they can tell me who they are without me judging them. And this is what makes me take this path, because I feel like I want to be someone who has a bigger impact than one-to-one or meeting people in actual life on a daily basis. That's what makes me work on writing my first book, and this writing will never end because I have so much to write about.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say it's very important to build a loyalty clientele, and it's very important to create a strategy for your business with certain conditions and policies that all the team needs to follow to make a successful business. Plus, create numbers for monthly, daily, and weekly - every detail you have to take care of. Having positive feedback from your client is your success, plus the profits you make, absolutely. But even if you don't make that profit when you start off, when you build the clients who always come back to you, in the long term you will see the results, maybe not at the beginning.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I noticed since 2020, customer service is not the same. There is no quality anymore, and we really need to work on this as people who live on this planet together. When you work 8 hours with other people, we need to have more compassion with each other, and respect, and create this positive environment, because when you are in any positive environment, you will flourish.
