About Morgan
I graduated from East Carolina University in 2023 with a degree in public health, and this is pretty much my first job outside of college. Before joining Solus Mammography, I worked at a community health center for a little under a year as a risk management specialist, but I decided I wanted to be a little more face-to-face with providers, with patients, and just helping streamline different processes when it comes to healthcare. That's what led me to the account executive role with Solus, where I've been for 2 years and 5 months. In my role, I cover a large territory from eastern North Carolina throughout the Triangle area in Raleigh, and I visit around 20 providers a day, educating them about Solus Mammography and making patients aware of how important early detection is when it comes to breast health. We're seeing younger women with breast cancer, so we're huge proponents in early detection and have been able to decrease the age to 35 where patients can get a baseline mammogram. Our centers are set up boutique-style, bringing something new to the mammography space. We're not a hospital system, it's not as clinical, and we try to provide a warm and welcoming environment for patients. We even have patients that travel about an hour away to see us. I do a lot of networking events, chamber events, and health fairs to get in front of patients and educate them, because a lot of times I encounter women who haven't had a mammogram in years because they had an awful experience before. It's really just about educating and making sure women know how important those annual appointments are.
