Ten minutes with Morgan
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my parents’ drive and ambition, especially my father’s persistence and refusal to give up. Their example instilled in me the importance of hard work, determination, and resilience.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be confident in who you are. Accept that you may not know all the answers or have the same expertise as others, especially in a male-dominated industry like commercial construction. Show up, take initiative, seek out the knowledge you need, and know that you are allowed to take up space. Face your fears, be resourceful, and take action to achieve your goals.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
A challenge in commercial construction is that it remains a male-dominated industry, which can feel intimidating for women. The opportunity lies in expanding networks, building visibility, and opening new doors through strategic connections and proactive engagement.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value ambition, perseverance, a growth mindset, resourcefulness, willingness to learn, and giving back to others. These values guide how I approach both professional challenges and personal growth.
