Ten minutes with Morgan

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to consistency and a willingness to do the unglamorous work for an extended period of time. I have always focused on understanding the full picture, not just my piece of it, and making decisions with a long-term lens. I also move quickly, follow through, and prioritize relationships. Most of the opportunities in my career have come from trust that was built over time.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Do what you say you are going to do, and do it in a timely manner. It sounds simple, but it is rare. Being dependable, consistent, and responsive has created more opportunities for me than any single strategic decision!

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Learn the full supply chain. The more you understand how everything connects, from production to the shelf, the more valuable you become. This industry is relationship-driven, so build trust early, follow through, and protect your reputation. It is a small world and people remember how you operat

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge right now is the imbalance between supply and demand. Over the past decade, the industry expanded aggressively, and now we are sitting on record levels of aging inventory while demand has softened both domestically and internationally.

At the same time, shifting consumer behavior, especially with younger generations drinking less (allegedly), and external pressures like tariffs are impacting exports and pricing.

The opportunity in that is for operators who understand the full supply chain and think long term. There is going to be a reset, and groups that are disciplined around inventory, capital, and brand positioning will be able to acquire assets, build smarter, and create real value coming out of it.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me are integrity, consistency, accountability, and respect. I believe in doing what I say I am going to do and following through, even when it is inconvenient.

I value long-term thinking and building real relationships rooted in trust. In both my work and personal life, I care deeply about showing up for people in a way that is reliable and genuine.

A big one for me is keeping promises to myself, not just to others. That standard carries into everything I do, from how I operate in business to how I build relationships. I also place a high value on growth and surrounding myself with people who challenge me to be better.
