Her Interview
Ten minutes with Morgan
01What do you attribute your success to?
My kids are my push and drive to be better and do better. I want them to see that you can accomplish goals at any age or stage in life. They motivate me every day to push myself and show them we can accomplish anything.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Strive for every goal and take opportunities when they arise because life is too short. Keep goals to yourself until achieved, as even close people might wish to see you fail. Strangers are often more supportive than friends and family.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Learn as much as you possibly can. School is what you make of it. Take advantage of all resources like one-on-one time with instructors, additional classes, practicing and studying more. Don't let others' negative experiences tarnish your mindset.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Family is very important, even chosen family. Make personal time for yourself to reduce stress and create balance. Always keep growing and learning new skills to keep the mind sharp. My grandmother was an inspiration for staying active.
