01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of God’s guidance, my faith, and the support system around me. My relationship with God has grounded me and given me strength, especially during challenging moments. My faith has kept me centered and motivated, reminding me to stay focused on my purpose and to move forward with integrity.
I’m also incredibly grateful for my family and friends, who have encouraged me, challenged me, and celebrated every step along the way. Their support has been a constant source of motivation. And finally, my education has provided the knowledge, discipline, and opportunities that helped shape my professional foundation. Together, these influences have played a major role in who I am and the success I’ve achieved.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that words and actions matter. How you communicate and how you show up—both in what you say and what you do—shapes your reputation, your relationships, and your long‑term opportunities. I’ve learned that being intentional, dependable, and respectful isn’t just good practice—it’s a reflection of your character. Over time, consistency in both words and actions builds trust, credibility, and influence, which are essential for lasting success.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The advice I would give to young women entering this industry is to always stay curious and committed to learning. Healthcare is a fast‑paced and ever‑changing industry, and staying adaptable is essential. Educate yourself continuously—because knowledge truly is power. The more you understand, the more confidently you can navigate challenges, contribute meaningfully, and position yourself for new opportunities.
Equally important, don’t keep that knowledge to yourself. Share what you learn with others. When you uplift the people around you, you not only strengthen your team, but you also grow as a leader. Your willingness to teach, support, and influence others creates a positive ripple effect that can shape the industry and make a lasting impact in the world.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The Patient Services industry is experiencing one of its most transformative periods, shaped by several major challenges that also present meaningful opportunities for innovation and growth.
Access & Affordability Pressures
Patients are facing rising barriers to accessing therapies as payer utilization management—such as prior authorizations, step therapy, copay maximizers, accumulator programs, and alternative funding—continues to intensify. These restrictions delay therapy starts and contribute to treatment abandonment. This challenge creates a significant opportunity for HUBs to strengthen benefit verification, prior authorization automation, and financial assistance solutions to reduce patient burden and accelerate access.
Growth of Specialty and Complex Therapies
The rapid rise of novel and high‑touch therapies, especially in rare diseases and oncology, has increased the need for more sophisticated, personalized support models. These regimens require high‑touch clinical education, coordination across multiple stakeholders, and deeper adherence support. HUBs that build strong clinical educator teams, patient‑centric workflows, and specialized navigation services have a major opportunity to lead in this space.
Shift Toward Direct‑to‑Consumer Care Models
Telehealth, digital pharmacies, and integrated virtual care offerings are reshaping how patients enter and move through treatment journeys. While this opens new channels for support, it also increases the complexity of coordinating care and ensuring continuity. HUBs have a strategic opportunity to integrate with these models and create seamless, consistent patient experiences—regardless of how patients engage with the healthcare system.
Demand for Personalized, Technology‑Driven Support
Patients now expect the same transparency, convenience, and personalization they experience in consumer industries. At the same time, healthcare providers face burnout from administrative tasks, creating demand for more efficient, tech‑enabled solutions. HUBs that adopt AI, digital platforms, omnichannel communication, and data‑driven personalization can differentiate themselves and significantly improve patient engagement.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me—both in my work and personal life—are God, faith, family, friends, integrity, respect, continuous learning, and authenticity. My relationship with God and my faith ground me, guiding my decisions and shaping how I show up for others. My family and friends are central to who I am; they provide strength, encouragement, and perspective in every season of life.
Integrity guides the choices I make and reinforces my commitment to doing what’s right, even when it’s difficult. Respect ensures I treat everyone with empathy, fairness, and professionalism. Continuous learning is also core to my identity—I believe in staying curious, educating myself, and seeking growth so I can continue evolving personally and professionally. Above all, I value authenticity: showing up as my true self and building honest, trusting relationships.
Together, these values influence how I lead, collaborate, and navigate both my career and my personal life.
