Her Story
About Morgan
Morgan Wright is a sales professional with 15 years of experience in post-acute healthcare. She started her career in home health and hospice electronic medical record sales, a path inspired by her father-in-law's battle with ALS and time on hospice. Over the years, she has worked across home health, hospice, long-term care, and senior living settings. Currently at Viventium, she sells software solutions for applicant tracking, HR, and payroll, shifting her focus from direct patient care tools to solutions that support the well-being and efficiency of employees in long-term care facilities and senior living communities. Wright attributes her success to a strong work ethic developed growing up on a farm and to the guidance of exceptional women mentors who have supported her throughout her career. She advises young women entering the field to embrace hard work, build genuine relationships, never burn bridges, ask difficult questions, remain resilient in the face of rejection, and seek feedback early on.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Morgan
01What do you attribute your success to?
I actually grew up on a farm. And so hard work and the grind was instilled in me from day one. I think that has a lot to do with it. I also have always had a heart for the senior community. I also have had really, really incredible women coaches throughout my career. I've had people in my career that have seen something special in me and believed in me and given me chances.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It's a grind, right? So, to not be afraid to work hard. Don't be afraid of hard work and don't be afraid to put your heart in it. Get out and build those relationships and establish the connections with people, because it really does matter. Never burn bridges. Don't ever be afraid to ask the hard questions. The worst thing that people are going to say in sales is no. You have to be resilient in that way, and you can't be afraid of no. So, be bold, ask the hard questions and be vulnerable. Ask for that feedback and coaching early on in your career.
