Morgen O’Connor is a dynamic entrepreneur, Web3 strategist, and creative technologist known for building communities and platforms that turn connection into opportunity. She is the founder of National Web3 Women’s Day, established on October 11, 2025, to spotlight and support women builders, creators, and leaders across blockchain, crypto, and emerging technology.

She is the owner and CEO of CMH Marketing Solutions, where she designs and develops websites, implements SEO and GEO strategies, and leads social media marketing for both Web2 and Web3 brands. Her work blends AI tools, digital marketing, and user-focused design with digital art, image creation, and video creation and editing, bringing a creative edge to her technical expertise.

Morgen is also the creator of a women-focused Web3 directory that enables women to create professional profiles highlighting their skills, services, and experience, giving them real visibility and access to hiring opportunities within the Web3 ecosystem. The directory was built to solve a clear gap in the space: talented women doing the work, but lacking a centralized, trusted place to be discovered and hired.

Drawing from over 20 years as a bartender and 10 years in events and promotions, Morgen developed a natural networking phenomenon rooted in human connection. Connecting people is both a passion and a skill she has refined through decades of real-world experience, consistently bringing the right people together and creating environments where relationships, ideas, and opportunities grow.

Morgen has been involved in multiple NFT and Web3 projects, including SolGods as part of the core team of Mafia DAO, as well as Dundies and Greedy Apes FC. She serves as Women’s Crypto Lead for Defcon7, a trading group focused on analyzing tokens, identifying red flags, and helping members find safer plays. She is also a team member at Novex Finance, where she helps educate traders on perpetuals and decentralized exchanges, and an advisor for SuiLife, supporting mental and physical well-being.

She is also the creator of Boink, a Web3 dating and networking platform built around shared values, authenticity, and meaningful connection. Through her platforms, projects, and social presence, Morgen actively mentors women entering crypto and blockchain and continues to be recognized as one of the Most Inspirational Women in Web3 and AI for her commitment to inclusion, education, and real-world impact.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the lessons I learned from over 20 years in hospitality—understanding people, reading energy, storytelling, and building genuine connections. Those experiences became the foundation for everything I do in Web3 and digital spaces. At the core, my drive comes from creating opportunities for women and building supportive communities. Turning gaps in representation into spaces for connection, collaboration, and growth is what continues to move me forward.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever been given is to stop waiting for permission and build what’s missing. If you see a gap, you’re probably meant to fill it.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to take the leap and stop waiting for perfect timing. Don’t let fear or self-doubt hold you back. Mistakes and uncomfortable moments are part of the process and often where the real growth happens. Focus on building strong relationships and a supportive community within your niche. Your network will open more doors than any single skill ever will.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in Web3 is its volatility—financially, emotionally, and culturally—combined with a male-dominated environment that can feel intimidating for women. This also presents a major opportunity: creating safe, supportive spaces where women can speak up, gain visibility, and thrive in the industry.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are integrity, positivity, and leadership. In spaces like crypto and emerging tech, where skepticism and negativity can be loud, I focus on leading by example, staying transparent, and creating environments rooted in trust and respect. I believe real impact comes from lifting others, offering guidance, and choosing to show up with intention, even when it’s easier not to.
