About Ms

I am Gerald, named by my mom, and I put Miss to indicate I am female. I worked 25 years in the justice system before retiring. I have written four books with two published and two more coming soon. One book is The Curse, COVID-19, inspired by losing my brother and coworkers to the disease, covering mental health, social media, technology and the importance of human connection. Another upcoming book is Life is Not Certain The Death Is, focusing on financial stability, health and life insurance. I am also working on a clothing line and hope to turn my books into films.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell them to concentrate on you. Love you more, understand you, so you can go out and understand the world. Without knowledge of yourself and the knowledge that your parents passed down to you, you have to store that inside your heart. Don't allow somebody else to come and tell you you're not worthy.

02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My values in life is more important to me is love. My first thing is to have a relationship with God. Everything comes from God, and if you put Him first and stay persistent, everything else will fall in place. You have to have value, it's not materializing. It has to be within you.
