Ten minutes with Munirah
01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I embody integrity, culture, compassion, and authenticity. I like being authentic and curious in connection. I really believe in coexisting. I grew up in a very multi-cultured family. Between religions, Christianity, Islam, Scientology, and Buddhism. I was exposed to those things growing up, and I saw a lot of hate. I saw a lot of prejudice. ... I'm very big on understanding the full person when I'm supporting an individual, and understanding who they are, and being curious if I don't know anything about their culture, or lifestyle, and LGBTQ, whatever it is, and connecting on our what do we have in common, and exploring what is not in common, and being okay with that, and celebrating.
