About Naa

Naa Tetteh serves as an elementary school teacher, instructing students in physical education, health, and early education at a Christian school. She has been in her current field for the past four years. Naa holds a background in biological sciences from college, followed by studies in food science and nutrition, and concentrated on nutrition during graduate school, with additional biochemistry coursework. Her professional certifications include HIPAA compliance, statistics, and archery instruction, and she previously worked as a waiver specialist at Cigna. 01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't see this just as a job. See it as a mission. See it as you shaping the next generation positively. You have to be empathetic, you have to really care about the students that you are teaching. They have to be open. They have to open their heart to these students, to listen to them, and to guide them alongside the parents.
