Nadia Tomasini

Nadia Tomasini serves as People Operations Coordinator at Avalabs, where she has worked for four and a half years in New York, NY. With five years total in her field, she began in lifestyle luxury management before transitioning into employee experience and people operations in the tech and crypto sectors. In her role, Nadia oversees new hire onboarding as the primary point of contact, plans and hosts internal events ranging from NYC happy hours to retreats and off-sites, and manages trainings within the company's learning management system. She created the organization's rewards and recognition program from scratch, initially handling it manually before securing a platform for a 250-employee team. Nadia earned a double major in Kinesiology from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and Ballet after a background as a ballerina. She holds a SHRM certification and an AIHR People Operations Coordination certification. She is a member of Startup Expert, a volunteer-based organization of HR professionals, and recently participated in a Crypto for Good event at a New York City middle school on the beautification team.
