Her Story
About Nadine
Nadine Holland is a Miami Beach-based jewelry designer and entrepreneur. She is the CEO and owner of her own jewelry brand and company, Nadine Holland Jewelry, which she has led for 12 years. Nadine creates ocean-inspired collections shaped by her love of freediving and travel, making unique pieces from seashells, sea glass, and coral that she collects herself. Her work has expanded into retail partnerships with luxury properties such as Lowe's Hotel in Miami Beach, where she designs custom displays and experiences. Self-taught in jewelry techniques including drilling, gold work, and stone setting after finishing school in Germany in 2001, Nadine later earned a Life and Business Coaching Certification. She now dedicates time to coaching other female entrepreneurs as a creative business coach through her Radiant Life Design platform. Nadine attributes her success to persistence through challenges and burnout, building her business around the life she wants rather than the reverse, with her daughter as her biggest inspiration. She values freedom above all and contributes to environmental causes by donating to Key Largo coral restoration and exploring collaborations with the Surfrider Foundation.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Nadine
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to keeping that dream alive, not giving up, always getting better and learning more. My daughter is my biggest inspiration to show her how possible it is to build your own dream and business around the life you want, not the other way around. Going through tough times and burnout taught me that.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice is to not give up. When everything looks like a disaster, that's when it depends on you if you keep going. Be consistent and do not give up if you have a dream.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Get very, very clear about what she really wants - what her day-to-day work looks like, how she wants to feel, what she wants to contribute. Build the business backwards around the life you want, not the other way around. Be consistent and do not give up.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is having to do so many other things than designing, like social media, which is necessary but not enjoyable. Running your own business requires learning many skills beyond creativity.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My biggest value is freedom - the freedom to decide what to do, to travel, to really be me. Also love with my family and my daughter.
