Her Interview

Ten minutes with Nadine

01What do you attribute your success to?

The key for me is ensuring that when I'm working with anyone, I listen to what they have to say first. I make them feel comfortable and included in the conversation rather than just giving my opinion. I am relatable and can sit and let them feel comfortable, which has been a strong point of success. I work with what they have and help them get clarity on what their money can afford.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Learn as much as you can. Be a sponge. Keep learning as you're going. Don't ever think that you know too much because there's always something to learn. Continue to learn, develop, and rely on people around you and your experience. Treat people fairly.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenges include not knowing but not allowing that to overpower the outcome, and dealing with guests who have a different opinion of what you want. Knowing how to navigate through that process. Not everything has to be personal because at the end of the day we all want to feel heard and valued. Not allowing those situations to override your learning process.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, honesty, reliability. Knowing that when working with someone, not having to be pushy. Looking for people who value my experience and understand where I'm coming from.
