About Nafisa

I'm a social worker by trade, and so I've always wanted to help and support people. I actually started off as a case manager, a medical case manager, working with clients living with HIV, and then just broadened my horizons doing different groups and things like that. I went in the field as like a try-something-out that's aligned with my degree, and then I end up loving it and seeing the important need of expanding everyone's health and making sure they have access to quality healthcare. Now as Chief Operating Officer at Babashi Transition to Hope, I support our president and CEO with expansion projects, operational needs, and client-related services. I've helped expand our programs, oversee IT development and software development, expanded our location from one to two sites, and I'm currently working on building out our pharmacy and expanding our housing and workforce development programming.
