About Nancy
Nancy Clark serves as a financial advisor at Edward Jones, bringing 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She focuses her practice on supporting women, with a particular emphasis on helping widows manage and navigate their investments after the passing of their spouses, ensuring they can pursue their goals and maintain financial security. Prior to entering finance, Nancy spent 20 years in education as a college-level instructor and coach, teaching pedagogy to future educators and coaching volleyball at both Division 1 and Division 2 levels. She made the transition to financial services to engage in more personal, impactful teaching about money management. Nancy holds her AAMS and CHFC designations, and anticipates completing her CAPE credential by the end of the month. She is a member of the Hall of Fame at Wayne State and stays actively involved in Rotary while supporting numerous nonprofits. Nancy attributes her success to her family's strong work ethic and faith, which inspire her dedication to caring for others through perseverance, kindness, and building trust.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My family always worked hard and had strong faith. That pushes me to do better and take care of people.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Perseverance, kindness, and just show that you care to people and they'll start trust.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
A large group of young people are going to inherit a lot of money from the greatest generation and I'm not sure they're ready or have the knowledge to take care of that money.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
A lot of faith, a lot of trust, honesty. I just love to take care of people so I want to make sure that they trust me and that I'm doing the right thing for them.
