Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my husband, who has been my biggest supporter every step of the way.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Persistence pays—keep planting seeds, promote yourself confidently, and don’t give up, because real estate is a feast-or-famine industry and consistent self-promotion is essential to staying in “feast” mode.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Persistence pays—keep doing what you’re doing, keep planting those seeds, promote yourself consistently, and don’t give up.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in real estate is the feast-or-famine nature of the income, which requires constant momentum and self-promotion. At the same time, there’s a huge opportunity in leveraging strong local connections—especially in Palo Alto—along with off-market and fix-and-flip deals and third-party recognition to build long-term credibility and trust.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are persistence, teamwork, community service, and credibility, balanced with the joy I find in baking, spending time with my dog, and recharging at the beach.
