Her Interview
Ten minutes with nandini
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the qualities taught by sports like discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship, along with the support from my parents and a group of determined friends at the University of Arizona who help each other study and grow.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be bold and do not let anyone dim your light or sparkle. This is a man's world by default, so never dim yourself for family, friends, or a boyfriend. Walk away if needed because there is no Prince Charming, only your own determination.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is intense competition from multi-talented people worldwide, requiring constant improvement. The opportunity is standing out through social media and influencer marketing where personal trust drives purchases more than traditional media.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is crucial because what goes around comes around and dishonesty will catch up. Creativity is also key, thinking outside the box rather than relying on textbook answers. Everyone can win together without sabotaging others.
