Her Story
About Naomi
Naomi Sanchez serves as a practitioner in mental health with Catholic Charities of Trenton in New Jersey. Since beginning her work in the field in 2022, she has progressed from behavioral health roles supporting autistic children to providing mental health services for adults and now focuses on assisting parents who have interacted with social services systems while managing mental health and behavioral health concerns. She conducts in-home sessions across Monmouth and Ocean Counties, meeting families where they are to build confidence in handling challenges such as autism, ADHD, and defiant behaviors in children. Naomi earned her undergraduate degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and her master's degree in counseling from Felician University, becoming the first in her family to achieve both. As a first-generation American whose parents immigrated to the United States, she brings a deep commitment to helping families, which she expresses through her membership in Poderistas since 2020.
