Na Shai (Alexander) Glover, SHRM-SCP, is a strategic and results-driven Global HR and DEI leader, currently serving as Director of Belonging and Inclusive Experiences at Elevance Health. She leads initiatives that center belonging and inclusive employee experiences across the organization, emphasizing representation, “You can't be what you can't see,” and prioritizing inclusive leadership development, DEI communications, and the growth of employee and business resource groups. A first-generation college graduate, Na Shai brings a unique perspective and deep commitment to creating environments where all employees can thrive.
With approximately 15 years of experience across healthcare, technology, financial services, social services, and defense and aerospace, Na Shai has built a versatile career spanning HR, DEI, and leadership development. She began in HR roles focusing on compensation and HR business partnering before moving into centralized DEI strategy and leadership development. Known for serving as a trusted advisor to senior executives, she translates complex business strategies into actionable people and talent solutions, builds scalable systems, and navigates organizational challenges with clarity, credibility, and sound judgment.
Beyond her professional work, Na Shai is passionate about traveling with friends, exploring new cuisines through cooking, staying active with Peloton, and reading widely. She has a demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusive and high-performing organizations while also cultivating personal growth and connection. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to never being afraid to try something new. Embracing challenges with curiosity and courage has allowed me to explore diverse industries, take on transformative initiatives, and continuously grow as a leader in human resources, diversity, equity, and inclusion. I approach every opportunity as a chance to learn, innovate, and make a meaningful impact, bringing both strategic insight and practical solutions to the organizations and people I serve.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Stay curious, grow your network and personal board of directors, try new things, and treat your career as a series of rotations that open new opportunities.
