Her Interview
Ten minutes with Nastassia
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, continuous learning, integrity, and my willingness to evolve. My career across fashion, visual merchandising, photography, and entrepreneurship has taught me to combine creativity with strategy and recognize opportunities where others may not. Completing my Bachelor of Business Administration in Fashion Merchandising while balancing motherhood and business reinforced my belief that education creates opportunities for growth. Through challenges and change, I have continued to move forward, build on my skills, and lead with purpose.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is that I don’t have to rush through life to be successful. It’s important to slow down, reassess my direction, and choose a path that genuinely brings me happiness while staying true to my values. I’ve learned that integrity matters, especially when no one is watching, and that challenges can make me stronger rather than define me. Above all, I believe in working hard, standing up for myself, and always leading with kindness and compassion.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women to invest in their education, work hard, and never stop learning. Build a career that genuinely makes you happy rather than simply pursuing what looks successful to others. Be resilient when life changes, protect your integrity, and remember that slowing down does not mean giving up. Most importantly, remain kind while confidently standing in your own power.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I see tremendous opportunities in creating specialized businesses within traditionally male-dominated industries, especially by understanding a specific clientele and providing reliable, tailored services. My experience in fashion, photography, and commercial cleaning has taught me the importance of adaptability, education, and strategic thinking as industries and customer expectations continue to evolve.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are integrity, education, resilience, kindness, family, and authenticity. I believe success means little if it comes at the expense of your character, relationships, or happiness. As a mother, I strive to model these values for my daughter by showing her the importance of hard work, education, self-respect, and compassion. My experiences have taught me that strength and kindness can go hand in hand, and I want to continue building a life and career rooted in purpose, perseverance, and heart.
