Her Story

About Natalia

Natalia Hildreth serves as marketing lead at Curiouser.ai, an AI technology company in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Russia, she earned her MD there and practiced medicine briefly before relocating to the United States ten years ago. She began her U.S. career assisting medical companies with research while developing an interest in social media and marketing. Taking on marketing responsibilities for a company lacking a dedicated department, she built expertise and a team through self-directed learning and company-supported education. During the pandemic, she pursued a data science degree from Dartmouth, transitioned to independent consulting with healthcare and financial clients, and three years ago joined Curiouser.ai, where her focus encompasses marketing, customer communication, and project management. Natalia attributes her professional success to pursuing work she genuinely loves, which sustains daily inspiration, and she values kindness in both her medical origins and current marketing efforts to support and empower others.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Natalia

01What do you attribute your success to?

I think it's a bit cheesy, basically do something that you really love to do, because then you're inspired every day, and if you feel for something, for a certain field or idea, it empowers you every single day.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I think it's a bit cheesy, basically do something that you really love to do, because then you're inspired every day, and if you feel for something, for a certain field or idea, it empowers you every single day.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be out there because the industry is changing so fast. Attend meetings, master classes, anything interesting, because it gives huge amounts of information, you get to connect with really interesting people and get perspective.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenges include getting investments, especially for companies trying to create new jobs rather than take them away. Opportunities include using AI tools to create your own applications even without being a professional coder, allowing you to bring your ideas to life.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Being kind is very important. Coming from medical fields, doctors always come with kindness to help people regardless of their emotions, and seeing a person come out smiling is the best fulfillment. This carries over to marketing where you're trying to help people and be kind.
