Her Story
About Natalia
I've been working in aesthetics since 2001, and my expertise covers everything in this field. I specialize in chemical peels, facials, and hair removal anywhere on the body. I've also had the opportunity to work for doctors, and for a couple of years I was a consultant for facial plastic surgery, which gave me valuable insight into how aesthetics works in the medical world. While I'm familiar with medical aesthetics like Botox and PRP from my past experience, for the past 10 years I've focused exclusively on facials, hair removal, and chemical peels. I'm my own mentor, and I believe in learning as much as possible and staying on top of technology and what's new in the field. Communication skills are very important in our business, and I make sure to treat every customer like family. It doesn't matter if they're rich or poor, to me they're the most important person right now. I enjoy talking to people, listening to them, and educating them as needed. I like a little bit of challenge because it keeps things interesting so you don't get too bored with where you're at. The most rewarding aspect of my work is being needed and helping people feel good about themselves.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my ability to pursue and not stop. I'll be honest with you, I know how to survive and I know how to work towards something and wait patiently. I'm very goal-oriented. If I know what I want, I always will get there. It doesn't have to be right away, but I'll get there whenever I'm ready to, because I'm patient with myself. I know how to survive, and I'm just a strong-willed person. I've made it through a lot in life because I'm strong-willed, and yet I try to stay kind. Not always nice, but kind to people, and treat them equally, no matter what.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Learn as much as possible. Stay on top of technology today and what's new. Make sure that you have great communication skills, because it's very important in our business. Be open-minded, and always treat the customer like it's your family. It doesn't matter what kind of customer, stay equal to anyone. Doesn't matter if they're rich or poor, to you it's the most important person right now.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Respect is one of the biggest values to me, both receiving and giving respect. Reliability is important. I like being reliable, when people can rely on me, so I can rely on people. Accountability and kindness are also very important. I believe in accepting people as who they are. It's very important to me, but it's also important that people accept me for who I am. I'm not trying to change anybody, just be flexible with each other and accept who we are as a whole. That's one of the most important things to me.
