Her Story

About Natalie

I currently serve as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Legal Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer at Region, a software tech company. My day-to-day varies because I support 3 different executives across different departments. For the finance officer, it's admin tasks, and for my chief legal officer and chief strategy officer, it's more project-based with bigger, longer-term projects. I work alongside the Chief Strategy Officer on cross-functional projects in the company, including initiatives like our sustainability initiative and different things internally and externally, project-wise. My day can be anywhere from handling last-minute events to big projects that I'm working on. I love organization and being involved with different stakeholders in different projects, getting them all together and organized, and making sure that all action items are complete when it comes to a project. I love being part of that, organizing everything, and seeing it to completion. I've been in the EA space for coming on 10 years now, and I've worked across multiple industries including tech, hospitality, nonprofit, finance, and real estate. I originally worked for a non-profit in the hospitality industry, working with board members and executives doing a lot of project management, which naturally evolved into the EA role that I love today.

Ten minutes with Natalie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say my mentors. Having mentors throughout my career has been instrumental in shaping where I am today. They've guided me, supported me, and helped me grow professionally. I truly attribute my success to the mentors who have invested in me along the way.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received is to actively seek development and to always have a mentor. This advice has helped and shaped my career in profound ways. Having that guidance and continuously working on my own development has been key to my professional growth and success.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Helping others achieve their goals is at the core of what I do. With my background, I love to help others and help someone achieve a goal. That's the biggest thing for me, and why I especially love organization and project management - I get to do both. Philanthropy is also huge in my life. I love to give back to communities and to children. Being able to support others, whether through my work or through volunteering, is what drives me and gives me fulfillment.
