About Natalie

I am a speech-language pathologist and accent modification coach with over two decades of experience helping individuals of all ages communicate with clarity and confidence, currently serving as a self-employed Speech-Language Pathologist since October 2014, where I help school-age children with speech sound difficulties become successful communicators by improving their speech clarity. I also serve as an Accent Modification Coach, a role I have held since January 2019, where I help motivated non-native American English speakers boost their communication skills by improving their American accent and speech clarity, with a specific focus on STEM professionals since May 2020.

Prior to my self-employed work, I served as Speech-Language Pathologist at Learning Prep School for over fourteen years, where I provided treatment and assessment for elementary through high school age students with language learning disabilities, including articulation, dysfluency, and autism, and played a significant role in the school's implementation of a school-wide Social Thinking program, including training staff and providing Social Thinking therapy to students. I also served as Speech-Language Pathologist at Mt. Diablo Unified School District for over two years, where I treated and evaluated school-age children with difficulties in receptive and expressive language, fluency, articulation, pragmatics, and reading, and at CompHealth for nearly three years, where I provided speech and language therapy to elementary and high school students.

I hold a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Emerson College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Tufts University.

Across my career in speech-language pathology and accent modification, my work has been driven by a commitment to helping individuals communicate effectively and confidently in their personal, academic, and professional lives. Whether I am supporting children with speech sound difficulties, coaching STEM professionals on accent clarity, or implementing Social Thinking programs in schools, I bring a compassionate, evidence-based, and client-centered approach that has made a lasting impact on the individuals and communities I serve. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue helping individuals achieve their communication goals.
