Her Interview

Ten minutes with Natalie

01What do you attribute your success to?

Nothing but the Lord. I was raised with humble beginnings, and there were times when opportunities seemed far beyond my reach. Watching my sister become the first college graduate in our family showed me what was possible, and by God's grace, I was able to follow that path. Every degree I've earned, every leadership opportunity I've received, and every milestone I've achieved has been built on faith, perseverance, and the support of those who believed in me. My success is not something I take credit for alone. It is a testament to God's favor and the foundation my family instilled in me.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

"The best career advice I ever received was that success isn't about being the smartest person in the room; it's about being willing to learn, serve, and grow. Stay teachable, remain humble, and never lose sight of your purpose. That advice has helped me navigate challenges, pursue higher education, and continue growing as a healthcare leader."

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Take your time and understand your "why." Healthcare is not a field you should enter solely because you want to help patients or because you're looking for a stable career. There must be a balance between compassion for the people you serve and a drive to improve the systems and processes that support them. When those two passions come together, that's where real impact happens.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The greatest challenge facing healthcare access is ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality care in an increasingly complex healthcare environment. As healthcare systems continue to grow and evolve, leaders must find ways to improve access while maintaining efficiency and a positive patient experience. At the same time, emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, present tremendous opportunities to transform scheduling, communication, and patient engagement, ultimately making healthcare more accessible and effective.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are God, family, communication, reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic. My faith guides my decisions, and my family, my tribe, keeps me grounded and reminds me why I work so hard. I believe in treating others with respect, following through on commitments, and leading with honesty and accountability. Whether at work or in my personal life, I strive to be someone others can trust and depend on.
