Ten minutes with Natalie
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to having overcome hard things in life and having people that have come before me to carve a path. A constant reminder to myself that we are all that girl and we all have the possibility to be what we want. It has been an evolution of turning that into a true belief system of hell yeah I can do that.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Building trust at work is consistency over time. Show up as your authentic self consistently daily and that is how you build trust with people. Work is work but at the center of work is humanity.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Have your own back. Be your own advocate. No one will advocate for yourself better than you.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
AI is both one of the greatest opportunities and challenges. Finding the middle ground when there are huge technological advances and how to use it sustainably and responsibly.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authenticity, assuming best intent, fun and levity, connection and community. Bringing joy makes coming to work easier and builds a culture that can withstand hard days.
