Natalie Combs Jackson, Ed.D.
Natalie Combs Jackson, Ed.D. is a professional educator, teacher, and founder of Unconditional Marriage Ministry, where she provides faith-based marriage coaching and relationship guidance alongside her work in education and workforce training. She is currently a 5th grade science teacher with Douglas County Schools, following more than 20 years of experience in education and non-traditional learning environments. Dr. Jackson has worked both inside and outside the traditional classroom throughout her career, and after the COVID-19 pandemic, she felt a strong calling to return to classroom teaching because of her deep love for children and her passion for making learning engaging, meaningful, and accessible. Her professional work focuses on empowering students and adults through education, training, mentorship, and personal development.
Beyond the classroom, Dr. Jackson and her husband have successfully operated Unconditional Marriage Ministry for the past 10 years, providing coaching and spiritual guidance to couples through word-of-mouth referrals and trusted community relationships. Their ministry primarily supports newlywed and engaged couples, helping them navigate the critical first two to five years of marriage by building realistic expectations, strengthening communication, and establishing a strong biblical foundation for long-term relationship success. She is especially passionate about helping individuals and couples grow emotionally, spiritually, and relationally through practical coaching, encouragement, and compassionate guidance. Her work reflects her belief that investing in relationships strengthens families and communities.
Dr. Jackson is also a highly creative individual who enjoys painting, writing, singing, and listening to music. She is deeply passionate about helping people, especially women, because of her heart for supporting those who often carry unspoken burdens. Known for her warm and approachable personality, she enjoys connecting with people in everyday settings and believes in the power of listening and encouragement. She is committed to pouring into others through teaching, training, and mentorship, because she believes that when individuals are strengthened and supported, they are able to positively impact others around them. She enjoys spending time with her husband, her dog, and her cat, and continues to dedicate her life to education, ministry, and service to others.

What do you attribute your success to?
My relationship with God, first and foremost. And just having some awesome women and men and just people in my village, having an awesome husband. Yeah, just having some incredible people in my village that told me how to breathe and to just relax. And, yeah, yeah, having a great circle. And they've just encouraged me.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Just breathe. It's gonna be okay. I think a lot of times we don't, we just kind of dive headfirst into things and we get so overwhelmed so quickly. Literally just breathe. I have a mentor teacher that actually just got put under me recently, so I always tell her, just breathe. It's just gonna be okay.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
In marriage coaching: helping couples manage unrealistic expectations and navigate the especially challenging first 2–5 years of marriage.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Faith, service, compassion, and caring for others.
