Her Interview
Ten minutes with Natalie
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the incredible support of my professional and personal network. When I returned from Italy, my friends, former colleagues, and professional connections helped me identify opportunities and encouraged me to pursue roles where they believed I could succeed. Their willingness to recommend me, share information, and advocate for my abilities played an important role in helping me reach where I am today. I am incredibly grateful for the relationships I have built throughout my career.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to never burn bridges. You never know when someone you have worked with may reappear in your professional life or become an important connection in the future. Careers can change quickly, and maintaining strong relationships, mutual respect, and professionalism can open doors you never expected. I believe leaving every professional relationship on good terms is one of the smartest long-term investments you can make in your career.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value creativity, curiosity, relationships, and staying connected to the things that genuinely inspire me. I have always loved print magazines and the worlds they create, and that passion began at a young age through my mother, who also loved magazines. They introduced me to subjects ranging from skincare and health and wellness to fashion and seasonal trends, and that early exposure helped shape my appreciation for media and storytelling. That sense of curiosity and excitement continues to influence how I approach my work in the media industry today.
