About Natalie

Natalie Sullivan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sisterly Luv LLC, a natural hair care studio and product line based in Mauldin, South Carolina. With 15 years of experience in the beauty industry, she began her career in product sales before transitioning into natural hair care, eventually expanding her focus into business management and the creation of supportive, professional environments for women. Through Sisterly Luv, she has built a space that blends luxury service with community and empowerment, offering both specialized curl care and premium micro-suites for independent beauty and wellness entrepreneurs looking to grow their brands.

Academically, Natalie earned her high school diploma before going on to complete an Associate of Science degree in a medical-related field at ECPI University. She later expanded her expertise beyond healthcare by pursuing a certification in digital marketing, and she continues to broaden her knowledge today through ongoing studies in naturopathy. This diverse educational background has given her a well-rounded foundation that supports both the technical and entrepreneurial sides of her business.

Natalie credits much of her success to an unwavering commitment to self-trust and to following her higher purpose, a philosophy that has guided her through the challenges of building and protecting her vision despite those who have tried to derail it. She is deeply motivated by the impact her work has on others, finding fulfillment in giving back to her community and helping fellow entrepreneurs grow their own businesses. To the next generation of women entering the industry, she encourages authenticity over comparison, reminding them that true success comes from discovering and honoring their own individual path.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Natalie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to continuously listening to and trusting myself. Entrusting my higher self and honoring my higher purpose has been imperative to everything I've built.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received is to keep going and not stop. I remind myself that I'm on the right path, and I simply need to keep moving forward.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women to avoid comparing their journey to everyone else's blueprint. While you can draw inspiration from others, your path is uniquely your own, so it's essential to discover who you are and what truly works for you.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is that not everyone will see or understand what you're trying to build. You may encounter obstacles from people who attempt to pull you off your path or destabilize what you've worked hard to create.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The value most important to me is changing people's lives. I find deep fulfillment in creating something that gives back to my community, and in helping other businesses grow and thrive alongside my own.
