About Nataly
Natalie Gampel has been working in her field for 25 years since graduating college. She earned a bachelor's degree in architecture in Venezuela and holds a contractor's license in the U.S. After moving to the States, she worked at an architecture firm for several years and developed a strong focus on the soft goods side of the industry, including fabrics and window treatments, which she has managed for almost 15 years. Her main area of expertise is redesigning or designing spaces to adapt them to clients' lifestyles, whether reorganizing existing homes or creating new floor plans and elevations from scratch, while considering aesthetics, how spaces make people feel, and material selections such as flooring and tiles. She is based in Miami, Florida.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Trust in myself and my instincts and all my years of experience to be more secure in the decisions I make. Everything has a solution, health is the most important thing, and when situations arise I have to pivot and adapt.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Timelines are challenging because of uncontrollable factors like permits, inspections, and material deliveries. Strict client budgets require creativity to balance spending while still delivering what is needed.
