About Natasha
Natasha Prospere, M.Ed., is an accomplished education professional and student-services leader with nearly 21 years of experience supporting learners and helping individuals achieve their academic and career goals. She currently serves as Director of Student Services at Everglades University in Orlando, Florida, where she focuses on student support, career services, job placement, academic advising, and professional development. Her career began in K–12 education, teaching English, creative writing, and composition, before progressing into academic advising and graduate program support.
Throughout her career, Natasha has developed a strong commitment to helping students—particularly working adults—navigate the challenges of higher education and prepare for successful careers. She provides guidance in areas such as résumé development, interview preparation, career exploration, and connections with employers and community organizations. She also supports students by helping connect them with resources related to housing, food assistance, mental health, and other essential needs. Her ability to mentor, counsel, mediate, communicate clearly, and build positive relationships enables her to work effectively with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
Beyond education, Natasha has demonstrated a strong commitment to wellness, community service, and personal development. She has served as a wellness coordinator and fitness instructor and continues to teach Zumba and fitness classes, reflecting her passion for encouraging healthy and balanced lifestyles. She has also participated in community initiatives such as food-bank volunteering, blood drives, toy and shoe drives, and breast cancer awareness events. Natasha holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Organizational Psychology and a Master of Education in Leadership of Organizational Institutions. Through her dedication to education, student success, wellness, and community engagement, she continues to serve as a positive and motivating influence for the people and communities around her.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to keep going, never give up, and keep pushing forward. I’ve learned to stand up for myself, stay professional, and never minimize my voice, ideas, or abilities.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to recognize their abilities, pursue their goals, and trust that success takes time. A strong career is built through experiences, lessons, relationships, and accomplishments along the way.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges is staying positive and motivating students, especially working adults balancing education with everyday responsibilities. It’s also important to stay organized and provide support for students who may need resources such as housing, food, and mental health assistance.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are positivity, motivation, and being a dependable source of support for children, students, and my community. I strive to stay organized, help others when they need it, support mental health, and make time for myself as well.
