Her Interview

Ten minutes with Natasha

01What do you attribute your success to?

I couldn't do anything without God. Without him being my having that spiritual faith leadership and belief, there's no way I could have made where I am without him.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One step at a time. That was the biggest advice that has helped me. It seems cliche-ish and simple. But it has helped me avoid a lot of traps... One step at a time has allowed me to see where I'm at currently, presently for me, with my limitations and without, and depending on my faith, what step can I take right now?

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The mirror of truth matters. We can't just go along with what everybody says, or fashion trends, or trends, period. But your truth, when you pull up that mirror and it shows you this, that matters. You need to work on that.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The challenge is being a female clergy in ministry and coaching across many denominations. The opportunity is focusing on empowering people, helping people, transforming people rather than fighting gender issues. 90% of focus should be taking care of your assignment and community.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Being honest with my journey so I can help and empower somebody else. I care about the human heart, especially women. Making sure that I'm available, transparent, and relatable are very important to me.
