Her Interview
Ten minutes with Natasha
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my mindset, determination, and willingness to keep growing. I visualize my next goals, challenge myself, and never give up on reaching the next level.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I received was from a mentor who told me I had the “spirit of Deborah.” Those words reminded me that strength, courage, wisdom, and service are qualities that carry into every season of life. As I transitioned from military service into entrepreneurship and leadership, I learned that my past experiences shaped me for the opportunities ahead. Sometimes, one person believing in your potential can give you the confidence to step into your next chapter.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to start with the right mindset. Train your mind to see yourself not only where you are today, but where you are capable of going. Continue developing your mind, body, and spirit, and prepare yourself for the next level of success.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges and opportunities in my field come from breaking barriers and embracing change. My military experience taught me the importance of preparation, confidence, and resilience in environments where women have been historically underrepresented. Today, I see opportunities for women to redefine their paths, transfer their skills, and step into new roles through leadership, entrepreneurship, and continued growth.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are service to others and self-love. I believe in giving back while also taking care of myself through personal growth, reading, self-care, and meaningful experiences. I create vision boards to guide my goals in family, finances, my Mary Kay business, and travel, helping me stay focused and inspired.
