Her Story

About Natosha

Natosha Galvan is a Talent Acquisition Specialist with more than 12 years of experience in manufacturing human resources and recruiting. Based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she currently works as a Recruiter at Kelvion, following several years with Greenheck Group as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and Human Resources Generalist. Her career also includes seven years as an HR/Project Manager with Elite Manufacturing Industries, giving her extensive experience in recruiting, workforce development, HR operations, and manufacturing environments.

Natosha began her career path in flight school, where she trained to become a pilot and flight instructor. That experience helped her develop emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and the ability to understand and connect with different audiences. She later pursued engineering studies before transitioning into manufacturing HR, where hands-on experience with blueprint work, cycle counts, oil and gas, and HVAC manufacturing gave her a practical understanding of industrial operations and the skills required across different roles. These experiences shaped her ability to connect candidates with opportunities that align with their strengths and career goals.

Natosha is especially passionate about recruiting, career development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and building stronger talent pipelines within manufacturing. She focuses on addressing gender, generational, and geographical gaps while educating students and job seekers about modern manufacturing careers involving robotics, artificial intelligence, and advanced technology. Through workforce partnerships, including collaborations with Goodwill, she helps prepare candidates for employment and supports individuals who may not have followed a traditional college or career path. Natosha measures her professional success by the people she helps, believing that creating meaningful career opportunities and positively changing lives is more important than titles or personal accomplishments.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Natosha

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to genuinely caring about people and helping them feel seen and supported. Whether I’m helping someone prepare for an interview, improve their resume, or navigate technology to apply for a job, I strive to build trust through transparency, compassion, and genuine support. Seeing people grow and find the right opportunities is what motivates me.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage young women to apply for the job even if they don’t feel fully qualified. Believe in yourself and your abilities—self-confidence can take you further than a resume alone.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in manufacturing is the lack of diversity in higher management, which remains largely male-dominated. I see this as both a challenge and an opportunity to promote greater diversity across gender, generations, and geography.

I also see a strong opportunity in building community partnerships. By connecting organizations with students, graduates, and workforce programs, we can help develop talent while giving back to the community. These two-way partnerships create stronger candidates and a stronger workforce.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me are respect, transparency, and trust. I believe in being honest and respectful with candidates, even when the news may not be what they hoped for. Being transparent about where they stand builds trust and creates stronger, more meaningful relationships.
