I attribute my success to my 20 years of experience in the U.S. Army and federal service, which taught me discipline and leadership, and to my ability to successfully transition into entrepreneurship while raising a large family and running a bookkeeping business that truly provides value to my clients.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to have a clear vision and remember that success doesn’t happen overnight—clarity, persistence, and dedication make all the difference.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now are building brand awareness and overcoming misconceptions about what bookkeepers do, as many people don’t realize that outsourcing financial tasks can save them up to 60 hours a month.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in my work and personal life are family and faith, and I focus on building my business to support and uplift my family, with all of us working together.
