Her Story

About Neha

With over 14 years of experience across product marketing and digital strategy, I currently serve as a Digital Marketing Lead at Hilti, where I drive digital marketing initiatives and demand strategy across North America, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

My work sits at the intersection of product marketing, customer experience, and digital transformation. I focus on translating business priorities into integrated marketing programs—aligning global strategy with regional execution to deliver consistent, high-impact customer journeys. In a complex, multi-market environment, I lead efforts to operationalize digital strategies, optimize performance through data and insights, and continuously evolve how we engage customers across touchpoints.

Before transitioning to my current role in North America, I was based at Hilti’s global headquarters in Liechtenstein, where I led global marketing communications. Prior to Hilti, I built my foundation in strategic marketing and product management through roles at Abbott, Novo Nordisk, and Apotex, gaining cross-industry experience that continues to shape my perspective on marketing and growth.

I am particularly passionate about leveraging data-driven experimentation, fostering strong cross-functional collaboration, and building customer-first marketing ecosystems that contribute meaningfully to business outcomes.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and long-distance running, and I strongly believe in work-life integration. As a mother and marathon runner, I value resilience, discipline, and balance—principles that guide both my personal and professional journey.

Ten minutes with Neha

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a strong support system—my family, mentors, and leaders who have guided me along the way. Their encouragement has helped me take risks, stay resilient, and continue growing.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to keep an open mind and not restrict myself—growth comes from stepping into the unknown and being willing to learn continuously.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don’t limit yourself based on perceptions of an industry. Even in traditionally male-dominated fields like construction, there are strong opportunities to grow, learn, and succeed. Stay curious, keep an open mind, and seek out mentors who will support your journey.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Construction is still early in its digital transformation, which presents both challenges and opportunities.

Key challenges include:

  • Slower pace of digital adoption compared to other industries
  • Gender imbalance in the workforce
  • Balancing professional growth with personal priorities

At the same time, the opportunity is significant:

  • Accelerating digital transformation and customer experience
  • Applying cross-industry learnings (e.g., pharma, tech)
  • Advancing safety and sustainability initiatives in construction

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I believe in curiosity, passion, and lifting others. To me, there is no separation between personal and professional identity—how you show up in one area reflects in the other.
